Fairfield Union Cross Country has helped many athletes get into colleges and be able to run / compete for the collegiate programs. There are several divisions athletes can and should look at. NCAA and NAIA are the two main associations. NCAA has Div 1, Div 2, and Div 3. The main differences are Div 1 give athletic scholarships, these are schools like The Ohio State University, Ohio University, Akron, Cincinnati, etc. Div 2 also give athletic scholarships, but are smaller schools such as Ashland University, Cedarville University, and Central State University. Div 3 schools do not give athletic scholarships but have a wide range of academic scholarships available. These are schools like Otterbein University, Mount Union University, etc. NAIA is another athletic association which is much smaller than NCAA, but the schools do offer athletic scholarships as well.
If any of our athletes needs help navigation the college selection process and recruiting, we are happy to help.
